Transfer of Five Armenian Enterprises To Russia

YEREVAN, May 20 (Noyan Tapan). Within the framework of the Equities-for-Debt program the process of transferring five Armenian enterprises to Russia will complete within three months. Ilya Klebanov, the Co-chairman from the Russian side of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, said during the May 20 sitting of the commission that the governmental companies established by the "RAO UES" company and "Russian Electronics" enterprise will carry out the management of the enterprises.

According to Ilya Klebanov, staff reduction and personnel change isn't expected at five enterprises transferred to Russia, including the Hranzdan TPP, the "Mars" enterprise and the Mergelian Institute. Ilya Klebanov mentioned that no staff reduction is expected also at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, which will be transferred to the management of "RAO UES" soon.
