NOYAN TAPAN, MAR 27, 2003. The
Armenian-Japanese trade-economic relations stand fair chances to develop especially
in the sphere of high technologies, the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs special
counselor on Japanese issues Kadzuro Imakhesa stated during his visit to the
"Viasphere Technopark" together with Japanese businessmen on March
26. The official opined that the cooperation between the private sectors of
the two countries in the sphere of computer software can prove real.
The Japanese party evinced interest in herbs and ether oils. The "Viaspher
Technopark" president Aram Vardanian said that more than 29 technoparks,
scientific parks, industrial incubators are currrently functioning in Japan.
Meanwhile, Japan currently needs physicists, applied mathematics experts, whom
they tend to invite from abroad, the president said. "Viasphere Technopark"
will try to participate in the 15b-worth Japanese IP (information technologies)
program.
