JUNE 4, NOYAN TAPAN. As many as 907 deals were concluded on
mansions purchases and sales in Armenia in the first quarter of 2003, of them
233 - in Yerevan. The amount of similar deals increased by 40.6% as compared
with the same period of 2002, Noyan Tapan learned from the Government-affiliated
Real Estate State Committee Press Service.
The average market price for 1 square meter of mansion houses raise by 11.4%
in the first quarter of 2003, while as compared with the fourth quarter of 2002
the index registered a 45.7% rise. The minimal and maximal prices on 1 square
meter of mansions comprised of a 250-sq-meter construct and a land plot of 400
square meters wavered from $45 to $990 in the first quarter of 2003.
Meanwhile, in the regions the minimal and maximal price for 1 sq. meter of a
mansion with a construct of 200 sq. meters and a land plot of 1,000 sq. meters
wavered between $ 15 and $ 110. The highest prices were registered in Tsaghkadzor
- $ 45 - $ 110, the lowest - in Maralik: $ 15 - $45. The average market price
for 1 sq. meter of mansions increased by 1.5% as compared with the fourth quarter
of 2002 in the first quarter of 2003 while with the first quarter of 2002 -
by 8.3%.
