The All Armenian Youth Festival "Baze," which was successfully held in 2002, will be continued in 2003, Executive Director of the "All Armenian Youth Centre" fund Vahagn Mkrtchyan said at the fund's convention today. He said the geography of the festival participants is expected to be expanded. This year's festival included participants from Armenia, Karabakh and the Georgian region of Samtskhe-Javakhetia. "Baze" is expected to become an All Armenian festival. Besides, Vahagn Mkrtchyan said a data base will be created on the Armenian youth world wide. A model of the data base has already been worked out, so, every young Armenian can leave there his data. The creation of the data base pursues a goal of determining the intellectual and labour potential of the Armenian youth, the executive director said. It is necessary for holding professional forums, for example, forums of medics, which will allow linking the Diaspora and the historical Motherland.
