Paramus, NJ The following e-mail was received by Arthur M.
Halvajian, Co-Chairman of Medical Outreach for Armenians, Inc.
from Dr. Smbat Jamalyan, Director of the Arrhythmology Clinic
at the Nork Marash Medical Center in Yerevan, Armenia.
"My
Dear Friend! Hope this message will find all of you well and
in a good health. Just Sharing My Happiness With All of You!
Two pieces of good news in NMMC Arrhythmology service: 1. 10
days ago, we did the first biventricular pacing case in Armenia.
We are proud that now we have a new option for the treatment
of heart-failure patients. 2. Two days ago, we performed an
EP and Ablation of PJRT in a one-year old girl (9 kg) from Georgia
who is now in sinus rhythm after 15 days of persistent super
ventricular tachycardia at the rate over 270 BPM. Thanks for
your help" "Medical Outreach for Armenians. Inc. played an important
part in the development of the Arrhythmology Services and development
of the Electrophysiological Clinic in Armenia. Your donations
have made this possible," said Arthur M. Halvajian, Co-Chairman
of Medical outreach.
"We
are all proud of the accomplishments of the Nork Marash Medical
Center and Arrhythmology Services; it is developing into the
finest medical center developed in the former Soviet Union,
and now is attracting thousands of foreign patients," stated
Halvajian.
