Armenian Art Online Database To Be Created

YEREVAN ­ The Armenian culture ministry has undertaken an extensive program of designing Internet web sites, which will contain some 500 paintings and written works of more than 50 modern Armenian Artists and writers. The online database of the Selected Works of Armenian Art is being designed by a ministry, which plans to build the web sites in three languages - Armenian, Russian and English. Also the program includes the online posting of painted art works of Armenian women artists and sculptors Deputy minister Alis Adamian said in the future they would enrich the database by adding the works of young gifted writers and representatives of national minorities, as well as pieces of Armenian classical art. They also plan to record CDs and tapes including the works of Karabakh, Javakheti and Diasporan men of art.
