The Armenian Relief Society Inc. is organizing a conference of NGOs in Yerevan. The theme of the conference is "Promoting and Protecting Healthy Lives of Women and Children in Armenia." Under the auspices of Armenia's First Lady, Bella Kocharian, the conference will take place at the Congress Hotel, on September 19, 2002.

With the participation of local and international NGO representatives, issues to be discussed in round table settings will include: HIV/AIDS, childhood development disabilities, domestic violence and trafficking of women.
