Do you know anyone who is not concerned about health issues?
Armenians, like everyone else, are very concerned about theses
issues and, through the Armenian American Health Professionals
Organization (AAPHO), they act upon those concerns.
The
AAHPO deals specifically with health services, advancements
in health sciences, education of young health professionals,
and dissemination of updated information to the public. They
meet monthly to discuss these issues, particularly how they
affect Armenian Americans.
The
AAHPO of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut is an organization
of health-care professionals of Armenian decent. It not only
benefits the Armenian-American community with its activities,
but, importantly, it benefits the health professionals themselves
who are active members of the organization. These include physicians
from all fields and of all specialties, nurses, pharmacists,
psychologists, public health workers, nutritionists, dentists,
physical therapists, social workers, and occupational therapists.
